Batroun Community Center Monday 23 April 2018

In partnership with Oxfam and Alef and with funding from the European Regional Development and Protection Program, Tabitha Relief and Development has launched during March 2018 a new set of activities in its Community Center in Batroun. Through this Community Center, Tabitha will work on enhancing legal safety by providing legal counselling and legal administrative follow up and improving legal knowledge regarding civil and penal laws in Lebanon. Tabitha will provide psychosocial support, Case Management, and social counseling.

Moreover, through its partnership with Migration Services and Development MSD, Tabitha will be able to reach out to different regions and target the most vulnerable populations including the Lebanese host and Refugee communities. For the third consecutive week, MSD and Tabitha are implementing PSS activities with 73 children for community based PSS and 62children for focused PSS in addition to legal awareness sessions.

Tabitha and MSD social workers will start conducting household visits as of May 2018 to identify the most vulnerable households and refer them to different services including legal counseling.
