Supporting the most vulnerable refugees Sunday 17 June 2018

Through the funding of RDPP and in partnership with OXFAM, Tabitha Relief and Development conducted legal awareness sessions at the Community Center in Aley targeting 226 Syrian refugees and Lebanese community members. The sessions tackled trafficking, birth and marriage registration, renewal of residency, etc.

Additionally, a training was conducted on May 30, 2018 with local community based organizations where 26 representative from different NGO and CBOs such as the Red Cross, schools, nurseries, orphanage, etc. attended. The sessions tackled Gender Based Violence and Child Protection SOPs in addition to early identification, safe referral and tracking. The training was sponsored by Aley Municipality and was conducted in collaboration with the Druze Women Association.
