The Un-Fairy Tale of Majida Monday 16 July 2018

Being 6 years old, living in an informal tented settlement is not an easy thing to consider or even to think about when you are living in a big house and having all what it needs to have a decent life. For Majida, attending the classes offered at the PWHO center at Burj El Barajneh is way beyond her dreams. She wants to study, to grow and hopes that one day she will be able to go back home, to her land, her house and rebuild what the war has destroyed. Majida is very happy when she received the assistance from Tabitha at the PWHO center and she is eager to study the Arabic Language in order to become a teacher in the future.

Tabitha’s food assistance through the contribution of Mary’s Meals, remains vital for 396 children attending the PWHO center classes as it gives them power to attend the classes and the energy needed to stay focused during these long hours.
